I need some lounge pity....
I'm sick-- some sort of violent gastric bug or something-- the last 30 hours have been exhausting and painful. Cramps. Toilet hugging. Toilet riding. Oh my.

My grades are due tomorrow so I dragged my butt out of bed about 11:00 this AM and have been working ever since, sitting at my computer with a fever. I managed some weak coffee about lunch time, and just ate a little yogurt.

The worst part about being sick when you live alone-- other than the cats insisting that you get up when they want you up no matter how hellish you feel-- is that there's no one to give you any sympathy. Or make you soup.

Ugh. I feel awful.

What a crappy time of the semester to be getting sick like this. I hope you feel much better soon.

4. I hope you get it out of your system soon.
Please feel better.

I live alone, and I agree that it sucks when you're not feeling well.

7. Well, mike c, you have my sympathy and hopes for
a speedy recovery from whatever is eatin' at ya'.

And you have my thanks for helping figure out how to post photos; here's one of a sunset, taken in Kenya last year. It ain't chicken soup, but enjoy it (if possible):

12. Avoid dairy.
Try soda pop and jello and/or popsicles. The popsicles will help bring you fever down, too. Hot tea (no milk) with honey or lots of sugar. No meat or dairy until your tummy settles down. Poor baby!
