Name a song, that features the contraction "C'mon".
The most obvious might be "C'mon Everybody" by Eddie Cochrane.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRjlZ8x2uQM

Then again, that might depend on your level of life experience.

33. I loved how Susan Dey played the piano
She shimmied her shoulders and raised her arms up & down.

What a virtuoso.

Don't be ashamed of being attracted to Shirley Jones -- she is a great actress. Think of "The Music Man" -- and don't forget her Oscar for "Elmer Gantry." Did you see that? She was amazing.

Me too -- the older I get the more I realize that mature women are hot. (Didn't I marry a woman 11 years older than me? ;))

16. Get Together - "C'mon people now, smile on your brother..."
Edited on Wed May-16-07 11:58 AM by Beaverhausen
.Get Together

-The YoungBloods-

Love is but a song to sing
Fear's the way we die
You can make the mountains ring
Or make the angels cry
Though the bird is on the wing
And you may not know why..

Come on people now
Smile on your brother
Everybody get together
Try to love one another
Right now..

Some may come and some may go
We shall surely pass
When the one that left us here
Returns for us at last
We are but a moment's sunlight
Fading in the grass..

Come on people now
Smile on your brother
Everybody get together
Try to love one another
Right now..

If you hear the song I sing
You will understand
You hold the key to love and fear
All in your trembling hand
Just one key unlocks them both
It's there at your command..

Come on people now
Smile on your brother
Everybody get together
Try to love one another
Right now..

17. Don't laugh
"Come On" from the Josie and the Pussycats movie. It really is a cool tune--the thing actually rocks.

I don't want to be your girlfriend
I'm just looking for a real good time all right
Can you guarantee me satisfaction
Need some action
Gonna get it tonight
So I'm telling you, boyfriend
That you've never met a girl like me before
Not gonna wait a long time
Better make up your mind

Are you in?
Are you out?
Shake it up
Shake it down
Wanna scream
Wanna shout
Give it up
Get it on
Or get out

Come on, come on
(Come on, come on)

You know I've got my pick of any toy, little boy
Replaceable, disposable
Fully action poseable
When everything's said and done
There's many more where you came from
Don't just stand there looking dumb
Baby, you're the lucky one

Are you in?
Are you out?
Shake it up
Shake it down
Wanna scream
Wanna shout
Give it up
Get it on
Or get out

Come on, come on
(Come on, come on)

(So come on)
Tell me what you wanna do
I can't wait around for you
It's not a mystery
(So come on)
Tell me what you wanna do
I can't wait around for you
Be with me

Are you in?
Are you out?
Shake it up
Shake it down
Wanna scream
Wanna shout
Give it up
Get it on
Or get out

Come on, come on
(Come on, come on)

Are you in?
Are you out?
Shake it up
Shake it down
Wanna scream
Wanna shout
Give it up
Get it on
Or get out

Loved "Summertime Blues" and "C'mon Everybody". He died in a car crash in the UK while on tour. Gene Vincent, another hot fave of mine at the time, was injurede in the same crash.

31. Yes by the Feelies
This week on this site I've seen old blues songs credited to Cream and Led Zep. I figured the convention was to not necesarily specify a tune by its original performer but rather the version that you like more.

23. OK, this may be cheating. It's two words, not the contraction,
But Janis is singing in my head and I can't make it stop until I post this.

(Come on…)
Didn't I make you feel like you were the only man, well yeah,
An' didn't I give you nearly everything that a woman possibly can ?
Honey, you know I did!
And each time I tell myself that I, well I think I've had enough,
But I'm gonna show you, baby, that a woman can be tough.

I want you to come on, come on, come on, come on and take it,
Take another little piece of my heart now, baby, (break a..)
Break another little bit of my heart now, darling, yeah. (come on)
Hey! Have another little piece of my heart now, baby, yeah.
You know you got it if it makes you feel good,
Oh yes indeed.

You're out on the street looking good, and baby,
Deep down in your heart I said you know that it ain't right,
Never never never never never never hear me when I cry at night.
Baby, I cry all the time!
And each time I tell myself that I, well I can't stand the pain,
But when you hold me in your arms, I'll sing it once again.

I'll say come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah take it!
Take another little piece of my heart now, baby. (break a..)
Break another little bit of my heart now, darling, yeah, (have a…)
Have another little piece of my heart now, baby, yeah.
Well, You know you got it, child, if it makes you feel good

I need to come on, come on, come on, come on and take it,
Take another little piece of my heart now, baby. (break a…)
Break another little bit of my heart, honey, yeah. (have a)
Have another little piece of my heart now, baby,
You know you got it (waaaaahhh)
Take a…Take another little piece of my heart now, baby. (break a…)
Break another little bit of my heart, and darling, yeah yeah (have a)
Have another little piece of my heart now, baby,
You know you got it, child, if it makes you feel good

that IS the title, the whole title and NOTHING but THE title:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07GSNyLzBEw

I dont sing no songs to make you sad
Only ones to love me
Every now and then again
If youre feeling down and lonely
Cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon
Cmon and love me

Aint it downright sad at times
When your loves been mistaken
Theres no one left, no ones around
Only your heart breaking
Cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon
Cmon and love me

I believe that you and I as men
Should love one and another
Satiesfied, have a peace of mind
Love your neighbour as your brother
Cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon
Cmon and love me
Cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon
Cmon and love me
Cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon
