Do you tend to judge people based upon generalizations? I do |
|
and I hate it. My worst one:
White men in business suits. I see them all as self-important, arrogant assholes. I'm not proud of this.
You?

2. Texans in Telluride I saw as self-important, arrogant assholes |
|
But then most of them probably were, based on gondola conversations. :P

5. You aren't alone I am sure, but I don't do that. |
|
I am sure I do occasionally, but I really try not to be that way. I know I don't want people making those types of judgments about me!

7. no...I wait until they open their mouths ... |
|
you can have a guy in a suit be a sweetie..or a jerk...I dated a guy who was a big time hippie but he was a laywer and would dress up nice for work....in a suit he looked like something out of a GQ ad...but that wasn't what he was normally...he typically wore shorts and oversized t-shirts..

8. I do, but I try to be aware of what I'm doing. |
|
I see a typical Dallas blonde with boobs and a too-perfect face and I think to myself, "She's probably a vapid idiot," but if I were to actually engage her in conversation for whatever reason I would consciously try to reserve judgment until I had it confirmed. :)

9. My self-important arrogant asshole clue is white guys in polo shirts chewing gum at a hyper rate |
|
Usually they have a cell phone clipped to their belt.
Total type-A shitbag, is what I think.

10. And yes, I am guilty of judging based upon generalizations. |
|
Most times, it's a rational response to years of experience and the generalization pans out.
Sometimes, though, I prove myself very wrong.
