is there a halfway decent mp3 player out there that runs off regular batteries? |
|
i'm about to embark on a few months of traveling and want to bring some music with me...but every mp3 player i look at only runs off of pre-installed rechargeable batteries...and my traveling style does not make it possible for me to be in places where i'll be able to recharge the thing constantly
i'm looking for something with a decent storage capacity that i can toss an energizer into and be on my way...
any recommendations? i'm not very concerned about bells and whistles...i just want something that plays music.

go to Amazon and check out "SanDisk Sansa M240" - it runs off a single AAA and has decent reviews.

2. Creative's MuVo's are good |

Built in USB, no cable required. The player is compact and adequate.

4. Seconded. It finally crapped out after about 3 years of abuse and a magnet next to it in my pocket |

got a Nano now, but I still miss my little guy and his ease of use. . .

My friend just sent me this link yesterday: and you can charge it (or other mp3 players) on your own homemade minty boost: http://www.ladyada.net/make/mintyboost/
