5. That's smaller than my living room.
Also my den.

I'd feel claustrophobic.

8. I had a single dorm room my junior and senior years of college
That was 11.6 X 11.6. Although it was nice and cozy at the time, I cannot imagine having to live in a space only a little bigger which include a bathroom and kitchen area.
I am guessing that she doesn't have people visit her at her apartment too often.

9. I lived in a smaller place when I was single.
Back when I thought I'd always be single my dream house would have been something about that big.

Sometimes I look at all my stuff and I remember very fondly when everything I owned, including my work tools, fit in my car with plenty of room for a passenger.

16. I am single and live in a 1,200 SF condominium.
And still could use more closet space.

:scared:

There is no way I could live in 280 SF, unless I was incarcerated against my will. The spaciousness is one of the reasons I bought this place.

17. Yep...same situation here, in a 1020 sq. ft. condo! I do have to share
with a 6 lb. cat, but she's usually pretty tolerable most of the time. It's just a "flat", but that helps keep my energy bills low. Rachel's studio apartment must be one of those where the "shower" is literally just a hose and a drain next to the undersized "kitchen"...I couldn't even imagine.

15. Very small, by U.S. standards. On the other hand, think of how most of the world lives.
Four, five, six, seven or more people crammed into that kind of space is not uncommon around the world.

Yikes.
