16. Wow, I had no idea Dublin was such a dining hotspot.
No need to go to Pleasanton or haul up 680 to those other towns.

43. You know what, I hate chain restaurants but I have to give Ruby Tuesday props
for having an excellent salad bar. Sometimes when I go out with work friends, you just end up at chain restaurants. And I was very pleasantly surprised at how varied and fresh the salad bar was there. They even had mixed baby greens and *RIPE* tomatoes. Usually when you get a salad at one of those places it's iceberg with a light pink slice of tomato and some cucumber.

Actually, their food is pretty good overall...but only a company owned by a Japanese conglomerate could think nachos should have lettuce...added before they go into the broiler.

Not too impressed with Chili's menu. Hard to be veg at Fuddrucker's.

7. Oh totally different. Everything at TGIFridays is salty
At Applebees they just put salt on everything

As for Chevy's - their secret ingredient is salt

And Chili's, they use Sodium Chloride

;)

8. I'd say Chevy's.
Assuming you don't have an On The Border around, it's as close as you're going to get to authentic Mexican without hitting a taqueria.

9. I've never had Chevy's.
I like Friday's, but I'm pissed at our local one for getting rid of NTN trivia. Fuddrucker's...meh. Chili's...meh.

I guess I'd go for Applebees. You can get a tasty margarita from them.

it's enough for dinner for one, or a very filling appetizer for two. It has avacado, artichoke and I forget what else but it's really good.

21. that sounds good -- I've never been to a Chevy's, but
perhaps we'll try one next time we're anywhere near a bigger town.

Fuddrucker's has an OK veggie burger, esp. since you can doctor it up any way you like to at their burger bar....

I like the atmosphere and food anyway. we don't get the good mom-and-pop Mexican places like Los Angeles, anyways.

I was in Moscow about five years ago ..... there were 60 McDonalds, and I saw TGIFridays, Sbarros Pizza, and KFC, all in Cyrillic letters.

the mallization of the world!
