I'm Quite Happy Melinda Doolittle Was Kicked Off American Idol

I don't think she should have been allowed on the show in the first place. She's a professional background singer. Last time I checked, this was an amateur competition that's supposed to find undiscovered talent.

If you're a professional background singer, you're not undiscovered, someone obviously found you and told you that you could sing well enough to be on a record or on tour with major stars.

She sang better than everyone else on the show because she's been doing it professionally for years. IMO, that wasn't fair to the other contestants.

I'm glad she's gone, though to be honest, I could care less who wins, this season of Idol has sucked the whole way through.

Really. She was boring. Sanjaya was more entertaining to watch than her.
