I have the Johnny Weismuller DVD's. In the extras, there's an interview with Maureen O'Sullivan. She said Cheetah was jealous of her and would attack. For one of the still photos, they had to chain Cheetah's leg to something so he wouldn't attack her. Unfortunately, I can't find that particular photo anywhere.
