Edited on Thu May-17-07 01:47 PM by LaraMN
I was holding him so he could lean in to pet it, it lifted it's nose up to Jack's face, and Jack just dove in and licked its tongue.

Jack looking at the "hop, hop, hops" (bunnies).

Jack feeding a goat. I couldn't get far enough away to get the goat in the picture. Every time it ate a kibble out of Jack's hand, Jack started giggling hysterically. The goat was a little miffed at Jack because other kids were feeding it handfuls of kibble, and Jack would only give it one little pebble at a time.

Me trying to explain to Jack why he can PET the animals, but he can't climb into their pens. He was supremely pissed at me.

2. He got REALLY crabby after about all of an hour,
because he wanted to get inside all the exhibits. He spent the last half hour swatting at random people and whining about the fact that he ran out of dill pickle chips. He is sooo high maintenance!

18. OT, but the Down Syndrome Association in MN has some
fantastic stuff available regarding curriculum modification. I just met with my friend who has a daughter with Down Syndrome to re-write her IEP and there was a ton of stuff I found on the net from that group. The educator packet in particular was fantastic for this little one's needs.
