First time I've seen an engagement announcement like this.

Mollie Stone, Andrea Bechert

Geoffrey and Nancy Stone of Chicago have announced the engagement of their daughter Mollie to Andrea Bechert, daughter of Ilsemarie Bechert of Tucson and the late Wolfgang Bechert.

Mollie received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Amherst College and a master's degree in choral conducting from Westminster Choir College. She is associate conductor of the Chicago Children's Choir.

Andrea received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Northern Arizona University and a master's degree in fine arts from Ohio University. She is a professional scenic designer.

The couple have planned an Aug. 12 commitment ceremony and celebration at Newberry Library in Chicago. They will reside in Chicago

I had to read it three times before I figured it out. I don't know if that says something good or bad about me...

But congratulations to the happy couple in any case!

How long before some bigoted assholes sue the paper for having their GOP-sanctioned hetero announcment published along with an evil, godless homo marriage?

13. I didn't even realize what the relationship was until after
I finished reading it. I kind of focused on their backgrounds, instead of who they are.
