What's for Dinner, DU?
We're having Chinese food! Scallion pancakes, Cold Sesame Noodles with peanut sauce, Beef Udon Saute, Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Wings, Peking Ravioli, Egg Roll, etc, etc... :9

What about you?

:hi:

And yes, I know I posted earlier about needing to lose 10 lbs, so don't bother bringing it up! :P

1. We had Chinese take-out. I had shrimp egg foo yong, my son had
sweet and sour chicken. And we LOVE the greasy pork egg rolls.

Nope, no pounds will be lost here tonight either.

28. I fucked it up
after browning and draining the meat, i dumped in some hot sauce, a jar of salsa and left it to simmer

then i realized i'd forgot to actually cook some chili powder into the meat before adding further stuff.

17. was pretty good - would have been better with fresh peas, but
the store didn't have any.

Was a new recipe. Not bad, but I'm a sucker for pasta.

Trying to lose 10lbs myself. Not easy, esp. since I looooove to bake. Sooths my nerves.

If your ever traveling along rte 90 get off at exit 48. You won't be disappointed. This is one of those treasures. An Italian deli that smells delicious from the moment you cross the threshold.

31. something new, that might need a name
I put brown sugar and cinamon in the water, and cooked up a pot of brown rice. Five minutes before the rice was done, I added a bunch of dried fruit; raisins, mango, coconut, pineapple.

It's mildly sweet, and might even be reasonably nutritious. Tastes yummy.
