1. I loved that show
my fav was the last one, seeing how Claire's life ended up going

first season was great, it was so different than all the other stuff on TV at the time

Claire was my favorite character for sure, she was just so full of talent and teen aged angst

for the men I have to go with David too, Nate was such a freaking whiner most of the time

and for supporting cast, I'll go with Rico, although the Dad was great throughout as a dead guy

2. It was a toss up between Claire and Brenda for me
Both incredibly complex characters. There was just something about about Brenda that seemed so incredibly sad and fragile. Claire was fragile but much stronger. You just wanted to rescue Brenda.

The episode I was thinking of was “Familia,” just the fourth episode.
Paco: (to David) "Don't be a bitch!"

4. Favourite show ever!
1) favorite episode
Probably the first one...it was love at first sight.

2) favorite season
First or last, can't decide.

3) favorite male character
David or Keith, I liked their relationship too, it was very real and probably the strongest and most functional relationship on the show.

4) favorite female character
Claire or Brenda. Initially I dentified strongly with Brenda but toward the end she just irritated me, there was a long period without much character progression, so overall I think I would have to say Claire, she developed in a flawed but realistic way and grew as a character over the course of the show.

5) favorite supporting character
Billy or Kathy Bates character.

2) favorite season

3) favorite male character
Nate (preferably shirtless Nate) *drool

4) favorite female character
Clair

5) favorite supporting character
Brenda's mom

6. Amazing show...I loved it. Probably my most favorite TV show ever
Edited on Fri May-18-07 09:57 AM by deutsey
It's hard to choose my favorite episode. My favorite moments include the Hispanic gang member's funeral (I actually cried at the end of that episode); the porn star's funeral (hilarious and deeply touching at the same time); the times when Nate encountered his dead father (especially the one where he met Life--a gregarious black woman--and Death--a creepy white guy--and the two start having sex); David and Keith's relationship in general; the ending of the final episode.

The first season is my favorite.

David's probably my favorite male character (although I did like Nate).

I think my favorite female character was Claire.

My favorite supporting character was Bettina (Kathy Bates).

8. This is my favorite show in my entire life...
I even bought all the seasons except four (I just havn't gotten to that one yet).
Favorite - Seasons - One & Five
Favorite show- Too many but some of them are the first, the last, the one where Nate dies (that dream was brilliant), the second to the last (where the young Iraq veteran kills himself with his sister's help), the Vegas one where David tells off the chain funeral corporate jerks, when they find Lisa's car and Nate goes to that little hotel on the ocean to try to find her and David & Claire show up for support, OMG will there ever be another show this good?
Favorite male character - Nate & David (can't pick)- a little trivia here is that Peter Krause (the actor who played Nate) originally tried out for the David character.
Favorite female character - Ruth - she was so complex
Favorite supporting characters - Bettina, Sara, Nathanal Sr., Brenda's mom.
Man...I miss this show... but I watch my DVD's often...the writing is so incredible.....

11. One of my favorite shows of all time!
Warning: I can't choose just one for any of these! :-)

Favorite Episode: Any that heavily featured Claire...how about the Season Finale? That was particularly beautiful.

Favorite Season: Either the first or last.

Favorite Male: Nathanial Sr. or Billy

Favorite Female: Claire and Brenda

Favorite Supporting Character: Arthur, Olivier, Gabe, Brenda's Mom, or Ted (even though he was a Republican...I still really liked him for some reason...maybe because he fell in love with and appreciated such a strong, feminist, liberal, smart woman as Claire!)
