"ER"--anybody watch the season finale last night? (spoilers)

Liked the new chief. He's the kind of shakeup the show needs. He certainly made things more interesting.

Shocked at what happened to Ray. Is he off the show now? Couldn't find anything on imdb or wikipedia about it.

It's time a bald guy was in charge of the ER again (I miss Mark!!)!

His role is to be a prick, but he is such a good prick.

Yeah, I still watch it, kinda out of loyalty. It had some really good moments this season. Mrs. Kay still watches Grey's Anatomy, but I got bored of the soap-opera stuff and gave up on it.

at what I guess was a protest that turned into a riot.

What did happen to Ray anyway? I must have missed the explanation for his injuries.

7. He got drunk at Abby's wedding because he thought Neela and Gates were there together. He

left and went boozing at a bar, and staggered outside to leave. His cell rang and he dropped it in the road and got smooshed by a big truck. I really thought he was gonna die.

Got into a brief fight with Gates, then stumbled out drunk. Neela then broke up with Gates, and text-messaged Ray. He was crossing the street, fished out his phone, dropped it, picked it up and saw it was from Neela...then looked up to see the headlights of a big truck.

They left us hanging for three episodes as to his fate.

10. I don't get Neela

in fact, there are many of the female characters through the years I didn't get. Why are these guys so crazy about her???? Most of the female heros in this show seem mostly dour and rumpled.

some of the men I don't get either.

not interesting personality, not unusually good-looking, and I've seen some Indian actresses I thought totally babe-o-licious, to use the technical term.

it's more the personality, and the personalities of many of the women, are just drab to me. She is such a blank I can't understand why two guys would fight over her.

13. Parminder Nagra is HOT!!

I developed a crush on her when Bend It Like Beckham came out, and ER has only fueled my obsession!
