What song is in your head at the moment?
For some reason I am singing Whitney Houston's...

I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside

16. Run by Snow Patrol
I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done

And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here

Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear

Louder louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbye
I nearly do

Light up...

Slower slower
We don't have time for that
All I want is to find an easier way
To get out of our little heads

Have heart my dear
We're bound to be afraid
Even if it's just for a few days
Making up for all this mess

17. Ear Worm- "I want to make it with you" by Bread
Hey have you ever tried,
Really reaching out for the other side?
I may be climbing on rainbows
But, baby here goes.

Dreams theyre for those who sleep,
Life is for us to keep,
And if youre wondring
What this song is leading to

I want to make it with you
I really think that we can make it girl.

No, you don't know me well,
In every little thing only time will tell,
If you believe the things that I do.
And well see it through.

Life can be short or long,
Love can be right or wrong,
And if I choose the one
Id like to help me through,

Id like to make it with you
I really think that we can make it girl.

Baby you know that
Dreams they're for those who sleep,
Life is for us to keep
And if I choose the one
Id like to help me through,

Id like to make it with you
I really think that we can make it girl.

66. By all means, get "Back to Black" ...
(not to be too nit-picky, but the title is "Back TO Black". "Back IN Black" would be AC/DC;-) ).

They did a really good job on the production of the album. It sounds like a really old Soul record, but it has this sort of bass-heavy hip-hop undertone to it. Plus, great songs, of course. "Wake Up Alone" and "He Can Only Hold Her" are highly recommended tracks!

51. "Down in a Hole", Alice in Chains
Bury me softly in this womb
I give this part of me for you
Sand rains down and here I sit
Holding rare flowers in a tomb... in bloom

Down in a hole and I don't know if I can be saved
See my heart I decorate it like a grave
You don't understand who they thought I was supposed to be
Look at me now a man who won't let himself be

Down in a hole, feeling so small
Down in a hole, losin' my soul
I'd like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied

Down in a hole and they've put all the stones in their place
I've eaten the sun so my tongue has been burned of the taste
I have been guilty of kicking myself in the teeth
I will speak no more of my feelings beneath

Down in a hole, feeling so small
Down in a hole, losin' my soul
I'd like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied

Bury me softly in this womb (Oh I want to be inside of you)
I give this part of me for you (Oh I want to be inside of you)
Sand rains down and here I sit (Oh I want to be inside of you)
Holding rare flowers in a tomb... in bloom (Oh I want to be inside)

Down in a hole, feelin' so small
Down in a hole, losin' my soul
Down in a hole, feelin' so small
Down in a hole, out of control

I'd like to fly,
But my wings have been so denied

63. "Wouldn't Mama Be Proud" by Elliott Smith
the question is wouldn't mama be proud?
there's a silver lining in the corporate cloud
and the pretty post that you're taking as an NCO
of the great pretender?
i should sure think so!
wouldn't mama be proud?
"can I take your order?" asked the heavenly host
ticket to the jet stream blowing coast to coast
the long stemmed glasses, a movie and a pleasant dream in mid-air
"you gotta tell me quickly, 'cos we're almost there"
wouldn't mama be proud?
pointed out of the window at the sky gone black
"kid, you're on the right track"
if i send you postcards from the side of the road
photographs of moving parts about to implode
if i crawl to keep it together like you say you know i can do
to transmit a moment from me to you
wouldn't mama be proud?
wouldn't mama be proud?
wouldn't mama be proud?

71. "we're walking in the air"
