All the food and items I bought today were made in the USA or Mexico: |

Norelco 8150XL shaver Ragu pasta goo Noprac Broccoli Norpac green beans Tyson chicken (no made-in label but it was FDA approved) Birds Eye oriental veggie mix Denice & Filice red onions EAS protein powder GNC B12 tablets GNC mega-man vitamin supplement Hidden Halley Ranch mix (dehydrated)
The bulk pack tilipea fish were made in China. :( No more fish for a while. I should have nothing to fear, as small quantities of crud won't hurt people, but still. I prefer food to be home-grown. Or at least lands where Cortez and Columbus roamed.

I won't give you the PETA link, but this is pretty bad in and of itself... http://www.coopamerica.org/programs/rs/profile.cfm?id=301Although "Tortured By Tyson" from PETA is pretty damn informative as well...

2. And the way they treat their workers is appalling, |
|
but since those workers aren't citizens--or here legally, Tyson's doesn't care.
Even if I ate meat, I'd go hungry before buying anything from Tyson.

Thanks, both of you, for that input. And double-thanks, Bi_Baby, for the URL! :pals: :yourock:
Like the idiot boxer, the food brand of the same name is no more.
