Dukes of Hazzard made for TV movie on ABC-family

It seems a bit strange

1. That is strange.

As a kid, I loved the original show (er still do!) but I remeber staying at a friend's house whose family were fundies. It got time to watch 'Dukes' and his parents wouldn't let us. But over the past few years I've seen John Schnider talking on Pat Robertson type shows about what great 'family values' the Dukes had.:shrug:

And though I haven't seen it, I've heard that the Dukes movie has more sex and violence than the show, and lacks the few good morals that the show had.

2. My mother forbade the show in our house! It fell under the "stupid rule"

Her father had forbidden The Three Stooges on the grounds that it was too stupid, she carried on this tradition by banning the Dukes from our TV. We had to go to friends' houses.
