There was this guy I knew who hung out in my group of friends, and we'd kind of get at each other and he thought I was annoying and stuff, and then he got into Landmark. When he started acting "friendly" to me while trying to get me into it, I knew something was wrong. When I told him I thought it was a cult and all that, he was actually surprised that I seemed to know a lot about est compared to a lot of people; I'd read about it in connection with this computer company called IMSAI where a bunch of the salespeople took the training and subsequently set all these impossible goals that the company was unable to support and it caused big problems.

There's also a movie about Werner Erhard that looks like it tries to look critical while at the same time serving as est propaganda.
