went to a field on my Mother's land to check if her long neglected asparagus plants had shot up any roots. They had - and had already started going to seed - so I pulled them up - and cast them aside (sometimes we will then get bigger and healthier asparagus.)
Meanwhile I guess I could try casting asparagus Freeper style:
Hey Freepers - go lock your porta potties, I hear goonzales may get put out of the DOJ and might be seeking shelter somewhere!

I missed the spears (if there were any)
my house had a plot and it does grow wild here, i'm just a little confused on what to expect

if caught and picked soon enough the plant(s) should generate new spears - as they are still trying to create more "seeds" (via the ferns.) Clear the ground of weeds, then cut down the "ferns" and then check every couple of days to see if new spears begin to come up. Best of luck!
