I have seen the movie several times, often in bits and pieces on TV and saw some of it earlier this evening.
When that alien spaceship floated over the Twin Towers I felt a bit uneasy. No, it did not destroy them but the Empire State Building. Still, as this tower was collapsing in clouds of fire and debris, and people were running away in that narrow street, it really felt strange.
