I was curious.. How do you listen to music?
Do you still use Vinyl, CD's, Tapes, Digital, iPod, or whatever.

All my music is digital now. I download all of it now. It gets into iTunes and that puts it on my iPod and the rest of the time I use iTunes for playback on my computer..

So... How do you listen to your music?

1. With my ears mostly.
:P

I still have some vinyl, cassettes, CD's, and some mp3's. Lately, I listen in the car more than at home and the car only has a cassette player and the radio. With my taste in music, you may as well say the car ONLY has a cassette player.

4. I have an adapter
it's cassette shaped, and has a wire running out one end which plugs into an MP3 player, so you can play MP3s via the car cassette player.

it looks like this:

2. Most of the above.
All of my music is now digital, but we also have most of our music on vinyl, tape and CDs. CMW has a JBL radial loudspeaker for his video iPod, and I use a little Intertronic loudspeaker and iPod dock in my studio. Occasionally, when I want my music really loud, I pop a CD into a small vertical stereo; most of the time, though, I listen with my iPod.

:hi: friend.

7. My house is iPod crazy.. I have six roommates right now.
We have 15+ iPods between us. About five of those are mine.. My Apple fetish is a little out of control.

This is kinda weird, sorry.

8. I don't think it's creepy.
I think it's sweet.

CMW are on an iPod-purchasing hiatus. We've bought six iPods in the past 12 months: a nano for each of us, a limited edition U2 video iPod for my little brother's birthday, and a nano for each of our goddaughters. Enough already! x(

5. I buy CDs
and load them to this PC in MP3 format. Then I can listen via the PCV, like now; via CD player downstairs; or load stuff to my mp3 player to go.

I sold all my vinyl about ten years ago, when I was going through a destitute period.

13. CDs and radio.
My wife, always more tech-savvy, has fully embraced her iPod and satellite radio. I'm still stuck in the nineties.

14. I either listen to music on my iPod or XM satellite radio online.
I haven't purchased a CD since the Slim Shady LP came out back in '99.

15. Vinyl, CDs and digital.
Mostly digital, though, so I'm engaged in the seemingly interminable process of converting all my CDs (easy enough) and vinyl (big pain in the ass).
