I got a letter recently about a class action lawsuit against Carmax.

Some Carmaxes in SC charged an "administrative fee" or 99.00 or 149.00 to people who bought their cars from Carmax in a certain time period.

I looked at my papers and lo and behold, there was the 99.00. So I didn't opt out of the class action lawsuit.

That's why I hate buying cars, renting cars, and other stuff like that. When it gets down to the wire, the sellers have little and not so little charges tacked on here and there. My brother calls these additional charges an "Oh, by the way..."

We live and learn. That's becoming one of my mantras.
