Rant: I'm feeling another "fuck you" thread coming upon me...

Fuck you, you oversensitive prats, you individuals who believe the banal is so fucking important that you need to take time out of your life to argue it down to the hilt, you people who are insincerely kind, who don't believe I'm REALLY worth the time.

Fuck you, if you hurt others just for the sake of hurting, if your insecure impulses lead you to rip down what threatens you, especially you who use emotion and passive-aggressiveness to control other people, and especially you who believe you can get away with it because Momma isn't sitting right next to you to slap you for doing so.

Fuck you, those of you who believe in your own sense of absolute righteousness, you are the ones that destroy debate and dismantle true democracy, for you are the creators of your own problems.

Fuck you to those who don't see how they created their own problems, who then complain bitterly but fail to see a need for self-improvement, who require a therapist's chair more than blind support.

Hey! I'm working on it. I have a new psychiatrist who is very proactive. I'm probably going to have the Vesuvius of all arguments with my mother this week, which is the at the root of the problems. Pretty apprehensive about that. It's weird that at age forty and at 6' tall and 280 lbs., she is the only person in the world who still scares me. :shrug:

So anyway, you don't need to remind me of that.

7. I feel the urge to argue on a couple of points

as far as arguing something down to the hilt, it takes to two tango. It's not so much arguing endlessly as it is scorched earth arguing. It's not a rapid and fun exchange of ideas with an interesting opponent, like a game of ping pong. Instead every point is argued with an uzi or a baseball bat. Not only will they disagree with you, but feel the need to berate you or bludgeon you for expressing an opinion that they KNOW is wrong!

Second, who has more of a sense of absolute righteouness than somebody who wants to say FU to so many people? :hide:
