LOS ANGELES -- Will viewers on "American Idol" be paying attention to Blake and Jordin's singing Tuesday night? Or, will all the attention be on Paula Abdul's broken nose?

She broke it over the weekend by falling while trying to avoid stepping on her Chihuahua. Abdul's publicist says she's a little sore, but's doing fine.

Abdul tells "Extra" she tore cartilage on her nose, fractured her toe and bruised her arm and chest all because of her "little chubby Tulip."

Tulip the Chihuahua wasn't hurt.

12. You know, I kind of feel sorry for her.

My brother is a bartender in LA and says, when she has been in a few times that she only ever orders water or seltzer, and that he's never seen her drink. She does have a rather debilitating disease and I know pain killers have caused me to be wobbly at times. :(

One would think there would be pictures of her all over Hollywood, drinking, if she were an alcoholic.

Folks can drink secretly, a good many alcoholics do. Being photographed or the absence of photographs means nothing. She has given interviews where see sure appears to be drunk but I suppose her behavior could be associated with her pain killers.

too and I hardly drink and benedryl is my heaviest drug these days. I'm sure I could use more, but I'm very sensitive (dead brain cells from yutful drug abuse) and I am terrified of becoming an addict. It would be a very easy thing to do. My cigs have their hold on me, I don't want nutin else to join 'em. :hi:

I feel sorry for her. I suspect she became addicted to something because of dancing injuries. She's supposed to be a nice person, and is especially nice to the kids on AI. A bit too nice to Corey Clark (gag(.

I don't take Oxy, but the painkillers I take have caused me to walk face first into a wall.

I remember, before my surgery, getting sick in a bathroom of a movie theater and having people look at me with disgust and say,"What a fucking lush..." I haven't had more than a celebratory sip or two of wine in years. Because I can't. :(
