I have only watched one episode of American Idol. It was a beginning of the season episode, and quite frankly, I was disgusted at the schadenfreude celebrated at the expense of one young lady who was obviously mentally ill.

Come on-buried treasure, mutinies, people dressed like and talking like pirates and everything takes place on a ship.

My daughter says that if they have a softball game on the same night she'll skip softball for this show. She loves pirates.
