my chest piece is not taking the red color as it should, I've had it touched up three times...am going to try adding in some pinkish color, in hopes that it evens it out some and makes it a little more three demensional...question...should I add on some cherry blossoms and blue sparrows to detract from the imperfect center pincushion heart and make it a real focal point?

3. I would think the cleaner the better.
I wouldn't add any blossoms or sparrows. I think imperfect things are usually more beautiful than perfect ones.

6. I can't keep red in my tats, either
Edited on Tue May-22-07 07:12 PM by MonkeyFunk
my body just absorbs it. I have blues and greens that still vibrant after ten years. But any red? Feh.

Edit; however, I have some orange that still looks great. Maybe you can try that?

7. Ditto MonkeyFunk. My red one is a splotchy mess.
I think for some people, depending on their skin, that might just be the way it goes.
