Does anybody know a LEGIT source of cheap printer cartridges? For HP? |
|
Yeah, yeah, there's a ton of spam links out there... I'm hoping somebody out there knows a good REAL source for cheap(er) print cartridges. I am burning through the printer's ink like nobody's bizness what with all of the activist stuff I've been doing late.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? :P

1. There are some businesses that will refill your cartridges legitimately. |

Not sure if that's helpful, but you could look in your local phone book. Also either Officemax or Staples gives a $3 credit for used cartridges. If you have a few, you could probably get a new cartridge for cheap.

2. Ooo! Really? I will have to look into that. |

That refund would certainly help! Honestly, at this point I think I have spent 3x the cost of the printer on ink... and that's in less than a year. I do love it, though: copy, scan and print all in one! Very useful!

4. I go to a place called Cartridge World |
|
...and they fill my cartridges. It's really cheap. About $18 for both the black and the color cartridges together.

5. You can refill it yourself for cheap |
|
I thought the color refill was a bit tricky but the black was easy peasy. And way cheap. I paid $13 for a kit that refills the black ink 4 times. Most of my what I print is black and white so this is HUGH!1! savings for me.
Just make sure you do it over a newspaper cause it can be a tad messy when you're first learning to do it.
