If only somebody would invent self-folding laundry.....
sigh...

I've got about 6 loads of clean, dry and rumpled laundry sitting on my living furniture right now.

It's been there for two days.

Ugh.

I'm sooooo lazy. I'm soooo tired. I'm soooo unmotivated.

I'm soooo pathetic. x(

5. How about self-washing laundry?
:-)

I love having clean stuff...just can't stand the process.

The fact that I have to drive to a laundromat doesn't make it any easier!

You're not pathetic...easy there on yourself! :-)

9. Driving to do laundry would be challenging.
it's hard enough for me to deal with going into our garage where the machines are. LOL.

I was kidding about being pathetic...however I AM lazy, heheheh.

:hi: Welcome to DU, btw! I don't think I've seen you yet. :toast:

22. Yeah, I guess. Hey, you want my kids?
 kidding.

When my sister and I were living with my single dad, during my teenage years, we'd always be asking him to invest in a dishwasher so we wouldn't have to do them ourselves.

He'd always say: "Well, I've already got TWO of them, so why spend the money?" :eyes: Yes, we were his personal slaves.

Now that my kids are older, I'm starting to see the wisdom in that. LOL.

32. I know I would feel totally different if I got pregnant.
But we're not actively seeking out parenthood. We're sort of leaving it to Mother Nature.

Although, the old joke goes...

What do you call a couple using the rhythm method? Parents.

Maybe we're doing it wrong. We'll just keep practicing. :P

16. What's up with your power? Hope it comes back on soon. How are you posting, in fact?
the kids have gotten to the point where they have to come out to the living room to pick out their day's outfit from the baskets of clean and unfolded laundry. :eyes:

Then, by the time I finally get all the shit folded and put away again, it's time to do another week's worth of laundry.

I'm the female version of Sysyphus....

21. Are you sure we don't live in the same house??
I, too, have about 6 loads of wrinkled, dry laundry sitting on my couch. It's been there since Sunday and, at the rate I'm going, it will still be there next Sunday (except for the clothes that I'll pick out to wear for the rest of the week). I have a final exam tomorrow and have been studying like crazy so at this point, I don't really give a shit about clothes.

(To be completely honest though, it would probably still be sitting there even if I was hanging out at home all day not working or going to school.)

37. I don't believe in folding laundry.
My housemate do.

I put my T-shirts on hangers to air dry, the same for blue jeans.

My underwear I keep in the laundry basket.

I have two laundry baskets, one for clean clothes, and one for dirty clothes.

My housemates fold everythinge else, they have given up getting me to fold anything.

38. I really like doing laundry
It smells so good, and it's such a pleasure to have clean things in the closets and the linen closet. I like to iron, too. It's a good thing, because I collect vintage linens and use them all the time. I don't particulary like doing stinky teenage boy laundry, though, I must admit. Getting mud out of levis is boring.

40. I agree. Folding laundry sucks.
I need a housekeeper to clean my house, fold my laundry, and put the dishes away.

I would actually embarassed to have anyone come over right now. Clean clothes in piles in my spare room. Dirty clothes in piles in the bathroom.
