If you're a fan, what did you think of the Heroes finale? |
|
I really wanted it to be more and was a little disappointed.

1. It was good, but could have been better. |

I realize that Heroes is a television show with a large cast and probably a budget of some kind. However, I wish they had invested more into the effects for the Sylar-Peter fight. They basically stood there. . . and stood. . . and talked. . . and stood. . . and talked. . . and got stabbed. . . and blew up.
This episode felt like the end of last week's episode, rather than something new in it own right. In fact, if it were a two-hour episode, I probably would have felt more satisfied.
I think the main issue for me is that we've spent all season looking at Peter's dream of the explosion. It implied a dramatic coming together. In actuality, it wasn't very suspenseful or exciting.
With that said, I like the show and look forward to next season.

2. My only beef with the episode. |
|
When Sylar had Ando pinned up against the wall in Isaac's apartment and Hiro materialized behind him and grabbed the sword he could have run him through right there and ended it.
It's pretty obvious though that Peter, even though he blew up, will come back at some point.
I thought the teaser of having Hiro land in 17th century Japan was great.

45 minutes of filler, followed by 10 minutes of anti-climatic finale, followed by 5 minutes of really lame stage setting for season 2. After what was largely a fantastic first season, they really, truly dropped the ball with that finale.

4. I love the show but it was somewhat disappointing |
|
For some reason my Tivo recorded it funny and it ended up in 2 parts. I started watching and ended up seeing the last 15 minutes or so first. It was so anticlimactic that I didn't catch on right away that it was the end and not the beginning. I have to agree with what a lot of people are saying, that the show down between Peter and Sylar was lame and could have been much more dramatic.
That being said, I'm already looking forward to the next season. The show is fun.
