Any cold sore sufferers have positive experiences w/L-Lysine? |
I've been taking 1,000mg a day for about a week now. Hoping this will help keep my outbreaks to a minimum. Thoughts?

5. I usually use Abreva once I get an outbreak |
up until now, that's been my battle plan, but it is so freaking expensive. I'm trying this L-Lysine to see if I can head them off at the pass.

6. I start using it when I feel that telltale tingle |
I take 2000-3000 mg a day at the first sign of symptoms and it's worked really well to keep it from progressing to an actual cold sore. And it's pretty inexpensive. Hope you have good luck with it.
