Since it doesn't look like bibaby asked- what's for lunch?
I'm about to have a tofurkey sandwich on sprouted wheat bread with some kettle chips and onion dip.

I'm thinking for dinner I might make black bean and corn enchiladas.

2. I never see vegan sushi anyplace without avocado
and I'm horribly allergic, so I never get any. One of these years I ought to learn to make my own so I can remedy that.

3. there are some great cookbooks out there
I bought one a while back, but since I moved I can't find it.

sometimes I ask for cucumber instead of avocado

6. One advantage here, every place has a good
vegan selection. Most Japanese restaurants will have 5-10 different vegan rolls. Pickled radish, preserved tofu, shitake, plum paste and mint...

10. vegan donuts are NEVER off-topic.
Thanks so much for telling me! Until now the closest vegan donuts were in Los Vegas and Portland.

13. i had 2 peppered ham & american cheese sammiches
a smaLL sandwich baggie of Lays potato chips, and a can of coke, which aLL fit perfectLy in my tiny cooLer.

tomorrow wiLL be the same... though i get to eat off of the roach-coach at 9 am. i Love eating sausage and peppers, and other griLLed meats as 2nd breakfast. :9

14. i had a meaty chicken carcass I stripped and made chicken and tomato sammies
and it's hubby's birthday so I'm making him Chicken Fried Steak with mashed taters, gravy and corn for dinner with brownies ala mode for dessert
