Poll question: 'The Simple Life' goes to fat camp |
|
http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/the-simple-life-stars-camp-couselor-roles-include-fat-camp-stint-4878.php:eyes: However The Post reported E! isn't calling it fat camp, and are instead referring to it as a "wellness camp focused on eating right, yoga, nutrition and exercise." (Snip) Richie's on-again/off-again friendship with Hilton was rekindled in October, after which E! announced a few days later that a fifth season of The Simple Life would begin production in November. However the original production schedule ended up being postponed by Richie's treatment announcement. You gonna watch?

Good God, Nicole is an idiot. She's anything but fat. She doesn't need to learn this. She needs to go to a Skinny camp where they eat nothing but pasta. Duckie

4. She needs to be in an environment where they aren't as fixated |
|
On food and weight as she is. It would be much healthier for her to be a normal camp counselor where they participate in fun outdoor activities and eat normal food without regard to how much fat is in it.

3. This is so bad for Nicole to do |
|
When people have eating disorders, even if they are recovering, they tend to fixate on food and weight. Putting herself into an environment, for a week at a time multiple times, where others are told to lose weight, eat less, exercise will just strengthen these thoughts in her own mind and make her worse than before.

Some reality shows can be amusing or even educational. (1900 House on PBS; the Amazing Race). Some are guilty pleasures. (Top Chef)
But I don't find two spoiled anorexic whiners appealing at all. They're tedious and rude.
Frankly, I don't think these women have any business appearing where children are trying to learn about good nutrition and health.
