3. I know how you feel....
he just wanted to visit his mom...and do some sightseeing around colorado...and Colorado is a beautiful state...but we have visited there at least four times now and have seen Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake, Vail...etc...and I wanted so badly to go north to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone...and now I am just beside myself ...

My inlaws will join us as well...it will be a cool family trip.

5. If you are a hiker.
Go up Paintbrush Canyon to Lake Solitude. It's awesome.

9. I will have to check that out...
we will have age ranges from 8-86...but all are in good shape...and I have been getting the kids ready for hiking by walking them up and down the hills around where we live...(PA)...
perhaps not as strenuous but I am sure we can cover a lot of ground...

7. That's going to be a great trip.
So beautiful. Take pics and report back.

And I know I'm turning into Suzy Safety when I beseech thee and thine to please read and heed all warnings in Yellowstone. No jumping into superheated sulfurous pools, and no taunting the wildlife, please, or bad consequences will follow.

Anyway, I'm v. envious.

8. We visited Yellowstone a couple of years ago
What a place! All those thermal features sure weirded me out, I tell you. Here's some pics:

Oops! Wrong picture! I'll try again:

Don's go near these big fellas, they've been known to stomp people into a bloody pulp. Just enjoy the stupidity of other visitors.

My two sweeties, on the way to Morning Glory Pond (I think).

Have a nice trip, you'll love it.
