Got a call from a friend of mine today that made me very happy, and THIS is what I get from my twisted mind:

Shine on me sunshine
Walk with me world

2. Darlin' Peggy!
So nice to see you!!!!

And I certainly welcome your hugs!

Doncha just hate it, though, when something annoying attaches itself to something wonderful?

Can't wait to hear all about your trip, and see your pics! :loveya:  :loveya:

3. I do hate it when that happens!
As soon as I figure out how to burn a disc with my pics, I will be able to transfer them to my desktop computer....

And then you will see some great pics!

:loveya:  :loveya:

8. I bet you are.
I love going on vacation, but at the end of it all, the best part of it is coming home, isn't it?

I remember saying after my trip in 2005.....It's so good to go away...and even better to come back...

Edited to add: I'm signing off now...time to get to the airport...

I'll probably be online once we get to New York.....

Later, sweetie!

And...get some rest, will you? :loveya:  :loveya:

6. I had one the other day
and picked a song from my playlist to drive it out. Then I was singing that song as I walked my dogs. I did not mind a bit, but you might find THAT cure to be worse than the disease. The song I chose was "It's all the same to me" by Billy Ray Cyrus
"You can put me on some island
in the middle of the sea
or lock me in a prison
with no chance of ever being free
or run a dagger through my heart
stand back and watch me bleed
or baby, you can leave,
it's all the same to me."

I probably have hundreds of songs that would work just as well for me.

7. Oy! For me, Billy Ray equals Achy Breaky Heart!
Edited on Thu May-24-07 04:38 AM by SeattleGirl
But its not as bad as the earworm, to tell the truth. At least there was a dance that went along with Billy Ray's song.

10. "you can torture me with Donny and Marie
or scrape your fingernails across the board
or tie me to a chair, and kick me down the stairs
just please don't play that stupid song no more.
Don't play that song.
That achy-breaky song.
The most annoying song I know.
And if you play that song.
That achy-breaky song.
I might blow up my radio." Al Yankovic
