Which version of Who Do You Love do you love?
I've got a half dozen and I love them all. George Thorogood, Bo Diddley, Ronnie Hawkins, the Band, Townes Van Zandt and that band from the Nuggets album whose name escapes me.

1. George Thorogood
Probably not the best, but I just like the kind of sinister sound it has to it. :hi:

2. That's the only version that I have heard other than the original and I really like it too
I am a big fan of George Thorogood and I think he has covered a lot of songs well.

4. You gotta see / hear the version in the Last Waltz
Ronnie Hawkins comes out and joins his famous former employees the Band. You can tell that he's relishing every second of his moment in the spotlight. It features one of the greatest rock and roll screams ever recorded

6. Say, that's a pretty good tangent — What's your favorite rock 'n' roll scream?
Roger Daltrey in "Won't Get Fooled Again" springs immediately to mind, but I'm sure there's better.

7. In my current mood it would be Prince's The Beautiful Ones
Subject to revision
Or maybe it's one by James Brown
Then there's the one on Love Rollercoaster of the person being murdered outside the studio (Urban legend I hope)

5. There's also a Doors version that's pretty good.
Personally, my fave is probably Townes Van Zandt

8. I'll have to say
Townes Van Zandt. That's the version I have on my MP3 player, just heard it yesterday.
