10. agreed and agreed! Gates of Delirium is awesome, and also,
the Revealing Science of God, from Tales of Topographic Oceans are examples of art rock at it's finest. And the artwork, like you say, makes it complete. I've been fortunate enough to see Yes twice, once with Rick Wakeman, and once with Patrick Moratz.

12. Hell yes. I use the Mr. Natural icon on another website. Love Crumb.
He loathed the popularity of Mr. Natural, as well as the Keep on Truckin' poster. He hated how commercialized they had become. Great, but very disturbed artist.

18. I've spent time with Crumb, and in his defense, I believe he's not as disturbed as most think
He was raised in a dysfunctional household, and has more then his share of quirks, but he's actually well grounded in reality, albeit, a reality that had ended by the 'forties. Times have been better.

I met Crumb through a member of the 'Cheap Suit Serenaders', we share the same eclectic interests in music. I also met Terry Zwigoff back when he was making 'Louie Bluie', and was a nobody.

37. Boogie with the Canned Heat.

Well, I'm so tired of crying, but i'm out
on the road again.
- I'm on the road again.
Well, I'm so tired of crying, but I'm out
on the road again.
- I'm on the road again.
I ain't got no woman
Just to call my special friend.
You know the first time I traveled out
in the rain and snow,
- In the rain and snow.
You know the first time I traveled out
in the rain and snow,
- In the rain and snow.
I didn't have no payroll,
Not even no place to go.
And my dear mother left me when
I was quite young,
- When I was quite young.
And my dear mother left me when
I was quite young,
- When I was quite young.
She said "Lord, have mercy
On my wicked son."
Take a hint from me, mama, please
don't you cry no more,
- Don't you cry no more.
Take a hint from me, mama, please
don't you cry no more,
- Don't you cry no more.
'Cause it's soon one morning
Down the road I'm going.
But I aint going down that
long old lonesome road
All by myself.
But I aint going down that
long old lonesome road
All by myself.
I can't carry you, Baby,
Gonna carry somebody else.

This is a song with a message,
I want you to heeeeed my warning.

Wanna tell you all a story, about this chick I know.
They call her Amphetamine Annie, and she's always shovelin' snow.
I sat her down and told her, I told her crystal clear
I don't mind you gettin' high but there's one thing you should fear
Your mind might think it's flyin' baby on those little pills
But you ought to know it's dyin', cause - speed kills!

But Annie kept on speedin', her health was gettin' poor
She saw things in the window, she heard things at the door
Her mouth was like a grindin' mill, her lips where cracked and sore
Her skin was turnin' yellow, I just couldn't take it no more
She thought her mind was flyin' on those little pills
She didn't know it was going down fast, cause - speed kills!

Yaaaa, speed can kill you too baby, yaa

Well I sat her down and told her, I told her one more time
The whole wide human race has taken far too much methadrine
She said "I don't care what a limey says, I got to get it on
I'm not hip to the scene of the man who comes from across the pond."
She wouldn't heed my warning, Lord she wouldn't hear what I said
Now she's here in the grave yard, and she's awfully dead.

Ya, speed gonna kill you!
Anybody.
Speed will get you!
Speed from over the pond.
There ain't no hope baby...
Yaa, aah hah.
Spoon a Spoon a Spoon.... huah...

Back in my day an album cover was a work of ART, framed and hung on your bedroom wall.

Now you need a goddamn magnifying glass to read a CD cover.
