What to do today? Hmmm.... What are your plans for today?

We're beginning our 3 day weekend, woke up early for a Saturday (8:30 :o), and now we begin to plan the day. Let's see...I need a bathing suit, we need a fan, I might want to get a tomato plant, and I might want to go to the beach. Or, all of the above :D

What are you up to? :hi:

1. first to the bank

before they close at 10.

then to the cleaners to pick up my business casual clothes, then to home depot to buy some little rolls of wallpaper accent strips (i wonder what design?) and maybe get some paint chips.

then to wal mart to buy some large containers of cheese flavored something or other and some safe dvds representative of hollywood's current product.

then lunch at chili's (should i get a chicken salad, chicken nuggets, or bbq seared jack daniels encrusted chicken breast?)

then to the parents where we can exchange pleasantries, eat some crappy casserole, and then bite my tongue when dad makes passive aggressive swipes at my lifestyle choices.



then cruise the abandoned warehouse district and maybe the park restrooms.

Ours is around 90, but it was that yesterday morning too, and it got up to at least 95 or so...Hence my desire to go to the ocean.

thunderstorms are in the works for the Memorial Day parade. :(

13. Well, first I am recovering from BoyMidlo's all night soiree

with his friends. :eyes:

Then, I have to volunteer at the high school for a bit. After that, I am going to the Pavilion here to watch/listen to TeenMidlo sing the National Anthem for the party that is happening there.

Tonight? Not sure yet.

Tomorrow we will go to church and then our neighbors invited us over for paella, so I'm brining a chocolate raspberry pie thingy that I found the recipe for.

We will probably at some point go back to Home Depot and get another door. Mr. Midlo installed a glass paned door between our kitchen and family room to keep the puppy contained and I like it so much I want one between the kitchen and the dining room. The glass panes allow the light, but the door is solid wood, so it insulates for sound/heat/cold. w00t!!!

Running errands this morning, hiking in the canyon a little later, and out for dinner with friends later. :hi:

20. Just rode 22 miles on the bike

Going downtown to get tickets for a free Shakespeare performance. Stop at Home depot for some wood to make a table for the patio. Mow the lawn. Fall asleep at the play from doing too much.

22. A bike ride... nice way to start the day.

I did a neighborhood ride yesterday (5.5 mostly hilly miles) and will probably go on a long ride tomorrow with friends. The long ride will be on much gentler terrain and will involve a break for lunch somewhere.
