I hate "airconditioner day"
#1. . Mr. Banana and the 2 Young Master Bananas both want to do it MUCH earlier than I do. It's not that hot, it's early in the season, it's going to cool down again before high summer, and besides, the household budget-miester in me rather enjoys Spring & Fall when we don't really NEED the heat or the cooling.

#2.. The whole procedure always devolves into a huge hollerfest of hurt feelings and miscommunications as Mr. Banana, who no longer "lifts" insists on directing traffic and issuing instructions for the Young Master Bananas (age 17 & 19) who "For God's Sake, we can DO it"

ugh

2. Air conditioner day?
Edited on Sat May-26-07 08:14 PM by Nicole
I never see people around here with window units take them out. They leave them in year round. I've never heard of removing them, until now.

I have central air & heat so I don't have to worry about it. I'm pretty sure if I had window units I would leave them in year round too. It doesn't sound fun at all.

4. If you leave them in all year, you can't open those windows on nice days.
I love to open the windows on beautiful days. If I left my AC in all year, I'd only have one window I could open in my office.
