Any DUers play Neverwinter Nights? |
|
Just curious to know whether the Gold Edition of this game is worth the time and money. Been reading the game's forums and it appears that this game still has some flaws.
Any suggestions?

but I'm no help with the gold edition. I have all the games bought seperately. When the first NWN came out there were some bugs...crashing etc. But if you upgrade to the newest version you should be fine. I'm playing the first one again right now and never have a problem with it. It's such a great game.

2. There's a few problems with the Gold Edition... |
|
Bioware is working to fix all the errors. I think they've got most of them now, but there's a possibility that you might have problems with it. With the latest expansion, Hordes of the Underdark, the game's even better than ever.
No, I don't work for Bioware, but I sound like I do.

that way you won't spend a buncha money on a game you don't like.
Myself, I love the game. I'm playing the first expansion pack and can't wait to play "Hordes..." I feel NWN is a happy medium between "Diablo," which was a little too hack-n-slash for me, and Baldurs Gate/IceWind Dale, etc..., which felt too much like a board game. NWN has a great multiplayer system and you can download other people's modules and even design your own.
Well worth the money.
I have heard the Gold Edition has had some problems, but I haven't followed the story much. If you can live without the extra content, just get the regular edition for cheap.
