Peace, Love, Kindness, and Happiness?

maybe I am in a bad mood today but when I look at the world I dont see peace, I dont see love, I dont see kindness, and I dont see happiness. I see despair, hate, and violence and I just want to get away.

I want to live peacefully

I want to live with Love

I want to be kind and see kindness in others

and these things would make me happy.

I guess this boils down to why? Why is it the way it is, and why do we live this way when the alternative is so great?

5. I don't understand it either, Jason

I've been feeling the same way since I was about 18 and got my first taste of the real world. Caring for each other seems like it would be so much easier than all of the hate in the world. I've often thought that we have it in our power to create paradise on earth and we piss it all away trying to get ahead in life. That's what this system is all about- getting ahead. It leads to all kinds of immoral behavior.
