Movie lovers! Join Movie Fantasy Moguls thru IMDB

Over at IMDB, there is a new "fantasy" game, along the lines of fantasy football and other sports games. Instead, this one concentrates on the movie box office and a few other factors, and you get to be the head of the studio, buying movies for your studio.

I just got into it myself, so I haven't learned a whole lot yet, but if you're fond of movies, or if you think you can pick better than the real studios, come on over and join.

I was going to start a league (after you've created your studio) but I haven't yet, though if other people join up to the game, perhaps we can put together a league of our own. On the other hand, if you've already joined up and already have a league, let us know if you want more league members.

If someone already has been part of this game, how well are you doing? Anything the rest of us newbies should know? It would be great to hear the experiences of other players.

I've encouraged a friend of mine to join--his second living is running an art theatre with a host of movies every fall and spring, so it should be interesting to see what films he ends up choosing.

There is a second game, called BoxOfficeMoguls, but it is only based on BO instead of other factors as well. It might be quicker for some people, but the two games don't interact.
