Did Anyone Listen to Art Bell this Past Weekend??? What Happened?
Okay, I enjoy Art Bell some to degree. Yes, he is pro Bush but he is also very pro global warming and has praised Al Gore on so I sort of have mixed feelings with Art. I usually only listen to him because I think George Noory is an ass. He gets to political and is a right wing mouthpiece plus he just doesn't have what Art has.

Not long ago Art had a guest on. The guest was being a jerk and not answering some of Art's questions so Art got pissed and ended the interview. George Noory would have dragged it out, but Art doesn;t put up with this crap and I applaude him for that.

This past weekend I stayed up to listen. Here's what the website has listed as his guest:

Recap
UFO Cover-Ups
Appearing for ninety minutes, retired Air Force Capt. and UFO investigator, Robert Collins, discussed his research into government and military UFO cover-ups. According to one of his sources, retired AF Lt. Col Ernie Kellerstrass, in 1959 an F106 was sent up to intercept a UFO in Japan, and ended up being pulled into the UFO's tractor beam. Kellerstrass also told him that in 1964, chemical and radiation testing was done at the Sandia Base on alien body parts.

Collins said he'd seen official drawings of tunnels, vaults and underground infrastructure at Wright-Patterson AFB. These secret facilities, which can be detected by radar, were alleged to house alien craft and bodies-- but such materials were moved primarily to Los Alamos National Laboratory and Area 51 around 1982-83, he stated.

He also spoke about "H5," an unstable element used in alien propulsion that can purportedly extract energy out of a vacuum. Scientists were not successful in trying to stabilize it at tests conducted at Los Alamos, he added.

The last hour and a half of the show featured Open Lines

Now, heres my question. I stayed up and listened to the first hour. It was entertaining/interesting and held my interest. At the top of the hour at 3:00 am Art came back and began talking with him. I looked at my clock and it read 3:18 am. I dozed off briefly and when I woke at 3:22 am Art had open lines and no mention of the guest. I oistened and all I heard was one caller call and say to Art, "Art you were very fair with that guest and...." Art interupted and said, "Thank you. I try to be fair with all my guests and callers, whats your question?" He seemd to cut the guy off and did not seem to want to go any further.

What did I miss? Did Art not think this guy was credible and ended the interview? Did the guy just decide he didn;t want to talk anymore? I felt something happened that was not planned and have gone to message boards and other sources trying to figure it out. If anyone heard the show Sunday noght and knows, PLEASE,let me know.

1. I guess
you can listen to past shows on the archive but you have to pay a monthly service. If anyone knows of any Art Bell message boards, let me know. I have tried Google and have come up with nothing so far!!!

2. I didn't listen, but Art Bell has always expressed SOME...
skepticism where appropriate. That's why I'd rather listen to him than that jackass George Noory who appears to be the most gullible person on the planet. It wouldn't surprise me if Art shut the UFO guy down for saying something that was just too ridiculous.

I'll never forget the night that someone said their kid had a painting of a clown in his room, and he was terrified because the clown came to life every night. Instead of asking the obvious question, "Why don't you take the f---ing painting out of the room? He's a kid, for crying out loud," George Noory went right along with his goofy questions about possible ghosts and poltergeists and the like.

3. Apparently thats what he did a few weeks ago
I didn;t hear the show but my brother did. He had some guy and kept asking the guy several questions. The guy would say, "Oh I can't discuss that". Finally Art said what CAN you discuss? Art ended the interview and did 2 1/2 hours of open lines (which I can tell Art does not like doing)I think as Art gets older he is more firm and particular about the guests. George a few weeks back had Pamela Anderson as a guest. (I am serious!)George is a sell out and Art NEVER talks about him. I am guessing Art got a sense this guy wasn't what he said he was and ended it quickly.
