It is only 1:30 here & I'm already drunk.
Went out for lunch and had 2 very strong margaritas. And since we got home I've been drinking.
Very bad week, but I'm feeling better now.
Here's to DU. :toast:

1. God how I wish I had a 'normal' job
where I get to have a weekend off, ever.

But nooooo. Unwritten USPS policy is to have a few employees with 'normal' days off as possible.

3. Sometimes the first sound I hear on a Sunday morning is a beer
cracking open... So I would say that you are slacking off a bit. You've got catching up to do!

4. I'm trying as best I can to catch up.
I spent many years of my life working nights and weekends.
I finally have "normal" hours.

6. Seriously: is drinking the solution ?
whatever problem you have it will only be postponed. And your ability to cope will erode with time. Don't mean to preach, just seen too many people heading downhill that way...

7. You are probably right.
I often drink when I find myself thinking too much.
I find it an affective way to shut down my brain from going where I don't want to go.

8. Interesting
I sometimes wonder if I'm depressed the next day because I have something to be thinking about or dealing with or if it's just because the alcohol has depleted my "happy" neurotransmitters.
