Apple has transcended self-parody
...with a sincere offer of a new software product called "iLife".

The philosophical implications are, to be sure, staggering.

1. iThink Apple marketing needs to get an iLife
Leave it to Jobs to package his idea of life as a software bundle. What does the 'i' stand for anyway? I've been trying to figure that out since the iMac came out. Now almost every product they sell begins with an 'i'.

4. iLife's been around forever
that's what they call the bundling of their music, dvd, movie, photo, etc.

5. I'm a Mac fan as well
Just the first I'd heard of it, they sent me an email. Of course, I'm no early adopter, so I'm going to wait for iSoul. ;)

6. Yup. Sounds like sour grapes from folks wishing they'd bought Apple.
It's the better product, and cheaper in the long run, which is what smart consumers look at when purchasing.
