unofficial L O S T withdrawal symptoms support activities thread |

Me I'm going to go swimming to exhaustion during the whole in my life that is now Weds nite.
For practice, I'm going to read Gravity's Rainbow backwards by chapters to see if clues don't resolve themselves in any greater clarity in such an approach.
Then, and only then, I plan on watching Season 3, 2 and 1 of LOST in reverse the entire way in 1/32 slo mo to get some answers, damn it....

You've never watched Lost, have you?
It's the most intelligent, creative show I've seen on network television in my lifetime. Fantastic acting by Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson, an intricate plot that requires some actual thought, obscure literary references, and, of course, Sawyer's nicknames.
Oh, the hell with it, I know I'm not convincing you. Go read Chomsky and leave us geeks alone!

8. Oh I have hurt your feelings, I am sorry I didnt mean to. |

Sorry I am up to date with Chomsky. An intricate plot that requires some actual thought on network television. Really?
To each their own, I am not knocking you just kidding around. But you are correct you cant convince me otherwise. Just glad to hear that there is still something interesting on the box.
As far as nick names, after dimson, I have had all the nicknames I need for a lifetime.
best to you and see you later! :hi: 8643

Heck, Lost is pretty much the only show I watch on a regular basis that doesn't involve horsehide, pigskin, or pucks.

10. You know what BDDNH, I am going to watch it |
|
because you recommended it. No really, I will, with an open mind, view an episode.
Maybe I am missing something.
LOL! "that doesn't involve horsehide, pigskin, or pucks" I heard that!

16. Seriously -- just watch the Pilot episode |
|
If you're not sold, you won't be.
But the Pilot is, perhaps, the best 2 hours of fictional TV ever made.

11. Funny I just watched a movie last week with Oceanic airlines |
|
in it and I think Kurt Russell. I can't remember the title. I am going to watch it again because I think there were some clues in it.
Also if you have some time on your hands, watch the movie The Game. It is so eerily similiar to Lost.

14. I just started watching season one after avoiding it for months and months |
|
I hate myself for breaking down. I really do. I really hope I don't turn into one of those annoying people who's like, "Oh my god! It's so great!"
But I flat out ran out of things to watch, so I HAD to do Lost.
It's okay so far. Fun, popcorn viewing. GREAT character work.
