*NEW* 'Studio 60' tonight at 10PM

Did you know that *new* Studio 60's episodes are airing?

I think this may be the last one.

I didn't watch the one last week-TiVo'ed- but there is another one on tonight. I guess they were "in the can" when the plug was pulled--there was a rumor that Studio 60 would run during the summer just to tie everything up but I think that fell through.

Last week's episode (I am told by my wife) didn't have Perry or Amanda Peet or Bradley Whitford on at all-weird.

1. I wish they'd air it a little earlier

but that is true of most of my favorite shows (Top Chef, Law & Order....)

When you get up before 5 a.m., it's hard to stay awake past 10 p.m.

3. Last week's episode

was a "thank you" to loyal West Wing fans. They actually shot it after the main characters had wrapped, then aired it out of order, which is fine because it could have fit in anywhere.

Basically, they brought in Allison Janney (CJ from West Wing) and gave her absolutely fabulous material, some of which made West Wing fans absolutely squeal with delight. ;)

Regardless, it was a truly funny episode...be sure to watch it before you delete it from the TiVo!

4. I read they canceled the series.

I absolutely love the writing on the show.

His brother was captured and is being held hostage in Afghanistan. They had footage of it in the news dept. showing the brother and 2 others with black hoods on their heads and captors with swords or axes.

14. I'm almost positive that they said they had 6 episodes before the hiatus, so we should have

about 4 episodes left. Kinda pisses me off because I like the show and I hate getting back into it and then having it just drop like that. I hope they at least tie it up and don't leave it on a cliff hanger or midway through a story.
