Poll question: Pick a new U.S. flag!
So I saw this thread:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x2863250

And it got me thinking, if Puerto Rico decides to become the 51st state, what should the new flag look like?

Here's the U.S. Army Institute of Heraldry's proposed 51 star flag:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:US_flag_51_stars.svg

Here's the version used by the New Progressive Party of Puerto Rico:

So which would you prefer?

NOTE, DU doesn't display SVG files(vector images) at all, so I decided just to link to the wikipedia image pages.

2. Of the two, I prefer the Army version,
but personally I'd like to see them ditch the whole "one star per state" thing and design something more simple and elegant, but that will never happen.

3. I like the traditional flag
No reason to make a drastic change.

9. What about the Jolly Roger?
It conveys our essential national values quite nicely, I think.
