How are you going to celebrate the day Bush leaves Al's House?
Have you thought about it? Its only a year away. I think I would like to be at the inauguration. :toast:

If that doesn't come to pass, then I will have friends and family over

In any event, at time next year our lives are going to be affected a great deal no matter what happens.

What will you do and how will you feel?

16. Why stop there?
Given that he wasn't elected the first time, he should be eligble for 9 more years, right?

4. Just what I was going to say! I'm going to the
Inaugeration in Washington D.C.

I know some People in our Dean Meetups who went to bushleague's "squatteration" to Protest in 2001! It will be so fine for them to be back in 2005!

7. I think we should organize a telegram campaign
Edited on Sat Jan-17-04 09:00 PM by Mikimouse
and send * thousands of telegrams saying, "Oh please, Mr. ______, don't make me leave the WH", just to remind the jackass what a pig he is. Include a laughing smiley face and a photoshopped picture of * crying.

10. That was the intent...
I remember the POS actually enjoying what he was doing, and I think that he needs to be on the receiving end of his own damned attitude. I have become increasingly angry about the things he does, and would love nothing better than to see him lose his temper on national television, or be so furious that he breaks down weeping. I know that he has driven me to tears more than once.

I'm commenting on "ecru" saying Bush will win. I'm sorry but freeper attacks are bothersome, I know the mods will do their job.

19. Don't you know?
Its Be Nice to Trolls week. C'mon, where would we be without the occasional comedy break provided by your friendly neighborhood Freeper. I think intrusions like that are sort of a trial of passage for them. They run in, post an ill-founded non-sequitor, then scamper off to the bushes to regale their tribe-mates of their tales of bravery. I find them endlessly interesting from a certain point of view, sort of like lemmings but not as cute.

Play nice with them and maybe they may even learn something.

21. They aren't capable of learning anything...
the indoctrination is too well internalized for learning to be an option, however, there is always the possibility that once they've veeb screwed enough by people like *, the lights might go on. They only seem to respond to their own pain.

28. Nooo, I must have missed the Greek woman.
How funny. I would have loved that. Maybe she wasn't there then. This was about five years ago. I actually liked Avila because it was so classless, a really great beach town like they used to be.

No the one I went to was more a biker boutique. The owners were total freepers, but some of the clientele were engineers and workers at the local nuke plant. They were an amusing bunch. I think the radiation was getting to them. There were the usual beach types, old retiree lushes (I guess I could fit in there) and some scary types. I can't remember the name of it.

I haven't been there in years, since Unocal cleaned up so I don't know if it's still there. The last time I was there I had an mini-asthma attack from the smoke. But now there is no smoking allowed, so maybe I should go check it out again.

29. Although I'd love to be at the Inauguration,
I work in DC and haven't the stomach for the incredible nightmares of Inauguration Day. Gov't offices and my firm are closed on ID so I will NOT be in DC on that day.

I think on 1/20/05, Mrs. V. and I will sleep late, eat a nice breakfast, and sit around all day with shit-eating grins on our faces -- and take a good, deep relaxing breath for the first time in four years and . . . exhale.
