Time for another "Back in My Day".... |
|
:hi: This was really fun when we did it last time. My current additions:
*Back in my day, the legal age for beer and wine was 18 and 21 for harder stuff. *Back in my day, pot was the drug of choice. *Back in my day, fundies and Freepers were considered fringe riffraff and not mainstream. *Back in my day, people rejoiced when disco died. :P
Your turn! :D

If the cops pulled us over they made us pour out beer, and dumped our pot on the medium. Now it is an automatic arrest.

Unless you did something to piss them off.

4. Those were the days... |
|
:P :hi: When I went to work for a community college in 1996, they still had a 486 computer with a 1200 modem. And they tried to make me use it. Even in 1996, that was fucking archaic. That was one step above the old telephone modems. And yes, dialup was the only option in 1996. :P

you could buy a "dime bag" of pot, and it was $10 and you could smoke it and get high
back in my day John Travolta was still on Welcome Back Kotter
back in my day you could buy 3.2 beer at age 18
back in my day you could drive an hour to Arkansas City, Kansas and buy 6 point beer and be back in time to party and you didn't have to be 21 to do it.
Back in my day freepers didn't even exist, if so they were called "John Birchers" and were scoffed at
