Seriously, it is a blue moon tonight so lucky folks can see it and Jupiter is next to it!

BLUE MOON & JUPITER: According to folklore, tonight's full Moon over
North America is a "Blue Moon" because it is the second full Moon in a
calendar month. If you go outside to look at the Blue Moon, you'll see
it has a companion: Jupiter. All night long, the giant planet will be
located right beside the Moon. You can see the bright pair with the
naked eye, or for a real treat, scan them with a backyard telescope. The
moons of Jupiter, lunar mountains and craters, and the Great Red Spot are
surprisingly easy to see.

5. Hey there pawpicker.

I am tired, got up to early today.

I will be working early voting for 9 days starting Monday mostly 8 to 5, but three days 7 to 7.

Then I get to hold the election at the school on the 16th of June.

Some good money but all this for one race, a runoff.

We will have a good time.

8. The race is for a replacement for a city councilmember.

It will take longer to sign the voter in then for the voter to vote.

We will be getting some overtime so that is good.

We have a lot fun when we get together.

The Saturday election will be a long day, 7 to 7 but we will spend the talking and laughing.

I get the big bucks because I am the Presiding Judge, something like $7.30 an hour.

19. I enjoy the small elections, the big elections are hell.

The early voting place I work is the most popular in the city, trust me we earn our money.

My precinct now has 2, 398 voters and growing.

I have one big precinct.

25. I would rather have most of them vote early.

The school were we work is to small now, crowd control is real important.

The county will not give me enough machines for my growing precinct or let me hire enought clerks.

The new townhouse people have some major attitude problems to deal with, they don't like to wait in long lines.

I like the small elections.

the moon looked really large tonight early in the evening.

while it is the second full moon within a calendar month, it is not a true 'blue moon' which would happen when you have two full moons within a zodiac sign, which this is not.

but it's a damned fine looking moon none the less :hi:
