2. Watching Neighbours over here in the UK |
|
They've named 4 of their characters after the Beatles (Johnny, Pauline, George, and Ringo Brown). So far Ringo's the coolest one yet.
George was the nicest Beatle and may he rest in peace.

3. Lennon without a doubt. |
|
John wrote the best of the Beatle material and his solo work crushes all the others.

6. Ringo put the beat in Beatles |
|
Thy had Pete Best for two years and did what? Played bingo halls and strip clubs. Two years after Ringo joined they had a dozen number one hits and were riding the world wide wave of Beatlemania. Plus he wound up marrying Barbara Bach, one of the hottest Bond girls ever. Are you kidding?

8. I saw Ringo on the street one day |
|
one of those bizarre LA incidents.
I was waiting for some friends outside a small Chinese place in an industrial area. A door opened to the warehouse next store, and out walked Ringo and his wife Barbara Bach. Just me and them on an empty street. They just, like, walked on up the street like normal people.
(this poll is as timely as the Stones vs. the Beatles from yesterday.)

not that John isn't a poet, but there's just always been something about George.

11. The Beatles were always John's band. |
|
He's the one who invited Paul to join.
Neither one of them would have reached their potential it they hadn't been competing, collaborating, and pushing each other as musicians and writers.
You should have put George Martin in the poll also. His contributions to the music were vital.

I think he's the most musically talented of the group and his solo/Wings career, despite being the most commercially successful, is also the most underrated of any of the Beatles, IMHO. So in terms of their musical output, I would vote for Paul.

15. Refuse to vote. The beatles would not have been the beatles |
|
without all of them. They were more than a group. They were a force of nature.
